Heavy Duty 5 Inch Aluminum Driveshaft
This driveshaft is designed with a 1410 series u-joint on the front and a 1350 series u-joint on the rear. Use this driveshaft to upgrade your existing one piece driveshaft or to convert your two piece driveshaft into a heavy duty one piece. We will need you to measure your vehicle for proper fit. Measuring is very easy to do - just follow the diagram below.
Two piece steel driveshafts are notorious for vibrations and component failures. Countless customers complain of their two piece shaft having repeated and expensive carrier bearing failures, vibrations or shudders. Our Aluminum driveshaft eliminates the carrier bearing for a stronger, more reliable driveshaft.
This driveshaft is heavy duty from end to end and is a very popular upgrade. The Aluminum tubing is 5 inch OD Arconic premium aluminum seamless material that is 1/8 inch thick -- rated for over 7,000 ft/lbs of torque! It will handle even the heaviest towing loads. Most of the OEM one piece aluminum shafts are only 0.083 inch thick.
The driveshaft comes fully assembled, balanced and ready to bolt in. Installation is as simple as bolting up the 1410 & 1350 series U-joints. You do need to check for clearance when upgrading your tube diameter. Before install check that the new bigger tube wont rub your vehicle. The carrier bearing cross members may need to be removed.

You can place your order today and we will send a follow up email requesting your driveshaft length or your can submit your measurement below. Measure from the tran. case center of u-joint to the center of the U-joint on the end yoke or to the flat of the flange face on the rear. We cannot complete your driveshaft order until we have your driveshaft length.
