All Bommer Prime Coated Hinges are Steel, Non-template, and Non-Handed. The Prime Coat is great for painting. They come packed with matching finish wood screws, tension Adjuster and instructions. The Jamb flange is surface applied to jamb and the door flange is mortised into edge of door. It is advisable to use three hinges on a door, the center hinge should be installed as close to the top hinge for maximum support. Do not use on doors with hinge edge beveled.
